Avril stopped by Mezamashi TV in Tokyo Japan yesterday to tape a segment and play the drums! Looks like a fun time! The segment will air on Monday.

Avril also taped a segment for Music Station today, in which she tweeted: "Performing live on Music Station tonight in Japan. Just bought some dope stuff and off to sushi!"

So much for break-up rumors! Avril and Brody were out to dinner at Koi Restaurant last night, along with Matt and Amie. Avril was decked out head to toe in the 2012 Abbey Dawn collection, and sporting some electric blue highlights! Avril embarks on the Asian leg of The Black Star tour in Tokyo on February 4. It's a slow time for Avril news, but if you haven't been following Miss Lavigne on Twitter, she's been posting pictures from the set of the newest Abbey Dawn shoot.

Avril Lavigne Home Sold for $8.5 Million to Los Angeles Basketball Star

Avril Lavigne has plenty of reasons to smile this week. Besides reconciling with boyfriend Brody Jenner after hitting a rough patch in their relationship, the singer has also finally sold the Los Angeles mansion she once shared with ex-husband Deryck Whibley.

The Mediterranean-style villa, which Avril and Deryck purchased back in 2006, is located in the ultra-exclusive gated community of Bel Air Crest -- no wonder the former couple was able to get $8.5 million for their former home. But who exactly had that much dough to shell out for the house? That would be Los Angeles Clipper star Chris Paul, according to gossip site TMZ.

Paul will actually be the latest in a long line of celebrities to have lived in the mansion. Before Avril and Deryck purchased the place, it was home to Blink 182's Travis Barker and his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. The two even filmed their short-lived MTV reality series, 'Meet the Barkers' in the house!

So what does $8.5 million get you in Bel Air? 12,184 square-feet of pure opulence! The mansion features eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a ten-car garage, wine cellar, and a gourmet kitchen. And oh yeah, the master bedroom also has it's own kitchenette ... because sometimes, you just gotta make yourself a grilled cheese in the middle of the night!

Now that Avril has unloaded her pricey pad, she's free to venture out and explore new real estate possibilities. Could the singer take the plunge and buy a house with her on-again beau Brody Jenner? As PEOPLE magazine reported earlier this week (Jan. 24), the couple is back together and more in love than ever! "They were kissing and cuddling and were very affectionate," a source tells the publication. Time will tell with these two!

Avril tweeted this picture of her new hair, for a recent Abbey Dawn shoot! No word on if it is permanent, or just temporary for the photo shoot, but I love it! The best color choices by far! Good job Gabriel!

Almost a month into 2012, and we finally have our first paparazzi shots of Avril. She was spotted with brother Matt arriving with Starbucks and some hair extentions to the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Saturday. Brody is not photographed, but recent reports say that they were getting cozy at the Culina restaurant at the hotel.

I'm not sure why, but it appears that all of the comments have suddenly disappeared, and you might not be able to leave any new ones... Stay tuned, I'm looking into it

Avril Lavigne Inks Deal With Sally Hansen

While Avril Lavigne is perhaps best known as a singer and songwriter, she is quickly building brands in both the fashion and beauty worlds. The latest: a deal with Coty division Sally Hansen, which had the 27-year-old create a nail collection for its Salon Effects brand.

Launching globally in April, the limited edition collection includes 12 designs of nail polish strips - including tiny skulls and leopard prints, Lavigne’s favorites - which are inspired by Lavigne’s style and music. Each $9.99 kit includes 16 nail-polish strips, a cuticle stick, a mini-file and buffer and instructions for at-home application.

“This is pretty much the coolest thing, because I also do clothing - I love clothing, nails and fragrance, hair, makeup, all that stuff,” said Lavigne during an exclusive phone interview with WWD Wednesday afternoon. “I was really excited about the Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips - especially since they’re superquick. You clean your nails, peel the strips and apply them, file and go. I’m superfast at it, so it takes me like five minutes to do my nails. And it’s supercool because the designs that I came up with are my personal style and vibe - they’re rock ’n’ roll and fun and bright and colorful. You have sparkles and little stars - they are cute. For me, I’ll be flying on a plane and be like, ‘Sh--, I need to do my nails.’ I can do these on a plane; I’ve done them in the car.
